If you must leave your cat alone over the weekend, consider leaving some extra dry food out, as well as plenty of water.

A word on “dried egg product”

One of the first five ingredients in this food is dried egg product. Dried egg product is dehydrated (dried) egg, in a powdered form. It is sometimes used in cat food as a source of protein. Although dried egg product is a good source of protein, meat is still a better source of protein for cats, because cats are considered “strict carnivores” by scientists.
